Shaun Cotter
After completing a Bachelor of Computing Degree at LaTrobe University, Shaun landed his first job as a FileMaker Pro developer with Access Net Australia. Access Net was a great starting point, getting exposure to emerging technologies, when the Internet was still in its infancy.
After moving to switched on knowledge Shaun took on the role of managing the Database Services department, leading a team of developers and working on projects that involved FileMaker Pro, SQL and various web technologies. At switched-on, Shaun was also instrumental in establishing successful partnerships with US based companies - partnerships that still exist to this day.
In July 2008 Shaun took the leap and established his own company with his long-term workmates James and Tony. While this provides him with plenty of challenges, it also allows more time to be with his family and continue to play football on the weekends.
James Moore
James completed a Bachelor of Computer Science degree at Monash before commencing work with Access Net Australia in 1998.
Since 1998 James has developed custom FileMaker Pro solutions for a diverse range of applications including; Internet Service Provision, Driver Training, Grant Management, Manufacturing, Printing, Aircraft Refueling and Project Management to name a few.
James has a passion for constant improvement and will happily refine an interface until he comes up with a solution that provides the best user experience.
James enjoys watching films, listening to podcasts and keeping up with the latest Technology related news online.
Tony Kargas
Tony completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computing and Instrumentation at Swinburne before starting his working life with IBM in Wangaratta.
After returning to Melbourne in 1999 he took up a position with Access Net Australia as a FileMaker Pro developer. Over the next few years Tony honed his skills as a FileMaker Pro developer before taking up a position with switched on knowledge in 2001.
Most recently Tony has been the lead developer of the commercial application ArchiOffice. This sophisticated FileMaker Pro solution currently provides a full suite of office management tools for over 500 Architectural firms worldwide.
Tony enjoys travelling, movies and playing with the latest computers and gadgets.
Horace Yao
Horace completed a bachelor of Business Information Systems at RMIT before continuing his studies with a Master of Information Technology at Swinburne University.
After graduating from Swinburne in 2007, Horace started his working career with Victoria Scouts as a PHP developer. During the time Horace gained valuable experience in web programming technologies including PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Horace has built on this experience during his time at Insightful System and is now responsible for the web deployment of our FileMaker Pro solutions.
Horace is an energetic individual who give 100% to everything he does. When not busy at the keyboard he likes playing sport and also enjoys music and travelling.
