Insightful Systems provides structure for Engineering firm

Aldanmark Engineers are a consulting company who specialise in Structural, Civil and Hydraulic engineering services as well as Geotechnical reports and Project Management. In recent years they have been involved in projects ranging from large scale commercial developments to architecturally designed residential properties, and are recognised as a market leader in their field.

The business evolved from a family run operation in a small office to a fully fledged professional company in less than 10 years. This rapid growth, along with new services being provided presented the company with the need to find a solution for their office procedures and storage of information.

• Document management allowing the creation of word documents with data merged directly from the database, all searchable and launched by a singe click
• Production of certificates that comply with government requirements, directly in FileMaker Pro
• Tracking of scheduled onsite inspections across all projects for all team members

The Project Details screen provides an overview of information relevant to a project; specifications, invoicing status and a checklist mechanism that ensures standard procedure is followed.
